These are some examples of my favourite music videos within and outside of the genre that I am planning on focussing on. I have looked at these numerous times to enable me to get some inspiration for my video. I shall also be looking at them again to look for more inspiration when it comes to storyboarding my video.

We were assigned to make lip sync videos with songs of our choice so that we could understand what we would be asking people to do when it came to making our video so that we knew the difficulties of it. I would say that this exercise did help me to understand what it was like to lip sync and that I will have to be patient in order to make sure that my video will be decent. It also enabled me to see that I would need someone who was dedicated to the video to be the vocalist as they would have to learn every little bit of the song off heart and that is a lot to ask someone.

Introduction to my blog

My name is Kelly Maxwell, this is my A2 Media Studies blog where I shall be researching and planning a music video of my choice.

The work I am about to produce is pre-summer holidays. It will include two attempts of lip-syncing, a preliminary video, continuity exercise, video research. This work will help me to understand the course more and it will help me do create a better piece of work overall.
