Pre-Production

In my group we story boarded what we were aiming to do. For this we needed to have an idea of what we wanted to produce as the end product. This enabled us to work as a collective all voicing our opinions of what looks good in a music video and what we have seen before. This impacted the end product positively as we created a piece which had features of a music video within and it was easily seen as a pop music video. We also created a list of what we wanted to see in the music video and what we would be able to do, such as the locations and props. This enabled us to be realistic with what we wanted to achieve meaning that the video did not look too odd due to lack of props for the hopeful outcome.
We created a list for props so that it was 100% set in stone for what we all had to bring in to ensure that the video was made within the time limit that we had given ourselves. This also enabled us to work with the storyboard easier as we ensured that we had the right props for the right time, to ensure that the process ran smoothly. The negative of writing a list for the props that were needed was that it created more pressure whilst storyboarding to make sure that it was worth bringing them in to use. Also, we had to use props which were easily accessable for us to use.
